The Recipients of the 2025 MTN Translation Program

We are delighted to announce and congratulate the recipients of the MTN Translation Funding Program, which supports publishers who have acquired the rights to Indonesian books, enabling them to bring these stories to readers worldwide.

24 titles awarded: 8 Adult Literature Books and 16 Children’s Books (The full list below).

Through this initiative, Indonesian voices and imagination will continue to cross borders, inspiring diverse audiences and strengthening cultural exchange.

This program is organized by the Indonesian Publishers Association (IKAPI) and supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Indonesia through the National Talent Management for Arts and Culture (MTN Seni Budaya).

MTN Seni Budaya, or the National Talent Management for Arts and Culture, is a national priority program that reflects a commitment to identifying, developing, and promoting Indonesian arts and cultural talents in a structured and sustainable way, nurturing them from potential to excellence, contributing to the nation, and shining on the global stage.

The Translation Funding Program is part of MTN Market, an initiative under MTN Seni Budaya that connects Indonesian literary talents with industry networks for pitching, collaboration, and distribution.
