Tasaro emphasized that reading is very important “Reading is understanding” said an Indonesian School student. Education in Indonesia, especially for children, such as in Playgrounds / Kindergartens / PAUD has several disadvantages. This lack of basic education provides a domino effect for these children as adults. “Aside from the lack of reading, spelling is the same. They are only taught to spell, not taught to understand the words, “said Tasaro. So that these shortcomings provide a domino effect until they are adults.

 

In addition to explaining education, Tasaro also provides tips on how to write a novel. There are 5 things a writer needs to know, namely 5 W 1 H. And in 1 H there are things that must be owned in the story so that they can be enjoyed, namely:

The initial scene of the story must be strong.
There is the main character’s purpose
Things that prevent the main character from reaching the goal

Today’s talk on the main stage of the Kuala Lumpur International Book Festival (KLIBF) discussed the creative process of writing a biography novel by Tasaro. This time Tasaro brought his book entitled “Muhammad” which received quite an interesting reception from visitors to the Book Party. When published to this day the Tasaro book received remarks from the pros and cons of the religious community both Muslim and non-Muslim. Tasaro through his book aims sincerely, that is to restore that the teachings of the prophet are good, never teach war, polygamy in Islam that does not have negative connotations and other things.

 

Tasaro GK won an award for the best idea in the Kuala Lumpur Trade and Copyright (KLTCC) for his work he is writing titled Almasih. He succeeded in defeating ASEAN competitors and getting third in the ‘Ideas to Book’ category.

 

KLIBF runs from April 27 to May 6 2018 at Putra World Trade Center, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This year Indonesia is present as a guest country together with Saudi Arabia and the guest country of Kedah.
